G&D has advised Pernod Ricard.
March 31, 2008 the Government of Sweden made public that it had entered an agreement to sell Vin & Sprit to Pernod Ricard, registered on Euronext in Paris. The purchase price, including transfer of liabilities, amounted to 55 billion SEK. With the acquisition of Vin & Sprit, Pernod Ricard becomes a leader in the premium spirit segment.
Pernod Ricard was advised by Gernandt & Danielsson through the partner Dick Lundqvist, who was in charge of the transaction together with the partner Fredrik Palm, and the associates Linneá Ecorcheville, Leo Lee, and Corinne Ekman. Also, a large number of other associates of the firm took part in the transaction.
