Pernod Ricard’s Swedish, Danish and Finnish subsidiaries (V&S) have entered into an agreement regarding the sale of the business conducted under the trademark Grönstedts to Finnish Altia Oy. Grönstedts is an award-winning cognac brand with a history from the middle of the 19th century and is the clear market leading cognac brand in Sweden.
Gernandt & Danielsson has represented Pernod Ricard in the transaction through Dick Lundqvist, Pontus Scherp, Rolf Larsson, Carolina Hertzen, Leo Lee, Corinne Ekman and Teodor Hanson. The transaction is subject to approval by the European commission.
