Gernandt & Danielsson advised Statkraft in connection with its establishment of a wind and hydropower joint venture with SCA. The jointly owned companies shall invest SEK 16 billion in wind power production in northern Sweden and analyse the feasibility of expanding hydropower production in the same region. Statkraft will provide financing while SCA will grant land for the wind power farms. Gernandt & Danielsson advised Statkraft through partner Anders Wallén, assisted by associates Marcus Nivinger and Joakim Brännström.
