The Canadian company Inter Pipeline Ltd has, through its European subsidiary Inter Terminals Limited, acquired all the shares in Vopak Sweden AB from the Dutch company Koninklijke Vopak N.V.

Vopak Sweden AB (pending name change to Inter Terminals Sweden AB) provides storage services for petrochemical products at its four terminals in Göteborg, Malmö, Södertälje and Gävle in Sweden. The purchase price amounts to approximately 865 million SEK.

Inter Pipeline Ltd is a major petroleum transportation, bulk liquid storage and natural gas liquids extraction business. The company has its headquarters in Calgary and is listed on the Toronto Exchange.
