G&D advises in West Air Europe’s issue of bonds with a value of SEK 500 million within a framework amount of SEK 700 million.
Gothenburg based flight freight company West Air Europe AB (publ), with operations throughout Europe, issued Swedish corporate bonds on 8 May 2013 to a value of SEK 500 million with the possibility to issue another SEK 200 million if certain requirements are fulfilled. The proceeds from the issue is used to refinance the majority of the previous indebtedness of the group, to acquire previously leased aircraft and for expansion. The issue was conducted through a private placement directed to Swedish and international institutional investors. The bonds are secured, inter alia through mortgages in the group’s aircraft fleet. The bonds will be listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm.
