The Nordic private equity investor Segulah sells Medstop Group Holding AB and its subsidiary Medstop AB to Oriola-KD Holding Sverige AB. Gernandt & Danielsson has advised Segulah in the transaction.
Oriola is already the owner of the pharmacy chain Kronans Droghandel Apotek AB and will, as a result of the transaction, hold approximately 21 per cent of the Swedish pharmacy retail market. Medstop is valued to MSEK 1,460. The transaction is conditioned upon approvals from the Swedish Competition Authority and the Swedish Medical Products Agency.
