Gernandt & Danielsson advised Nobina AB in connection with the sale of the express bus company Swebus Express AB to Flixbus Sverige AB for a purchase price of EUR 10.2 million. The divestment encompasses Swebus’ commercial operations, brand and most of the fleet of vehicles. FlixBus Sverige AB took possession of the shares on 2 May 2018 in connection with the agreement being signed. In addition, buses to a value of EUR 1.9 million are transferred to the buyer from Nobina Fleet AB.
Swebus conducts interregional express bus services and its operations consist of about 10,000 departures per week and more than 1.5 million passengers per year. Nobina is the largest public bus transport service provider in the Nordic region and is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
