Gernandt & Danielsson advises Betsson on an acquisition of a Canadian business

Gernandt & Danielsson advises Betsson AB (publ) on its acquisition of a Canadian B2C business and B2B technology from Rhino Entertainment Group.

Betsson is one of the leading players in the global online gaming sector listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm Large Cap.

Rhino Entertainment Group is a Malta-based online gaming operator.

The purchase price amounts to EUR 64.5 million. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in Q2 or Q3 2026.

Gernandt & Danielsson has advised Betsson with a team led by partners Fredrik Palm and Oscar Anderson and senior associate Joel Olsson, mainly assisted by senior associate Astrid Svensson and associate Oliver Ågren.
