Gernandt & Danielsson co-authors the report Boards at the Frontier – AI, Governance, and the Case for Board Leadership

Partner Niclas Rockborn and Lena Eriksson, Independent Senior Board and Governance Advisor, are delighted to share their report, “Boards at the Frontier – AI, Governance, and the Case for Board Leadership”.

The report examines how AI should be integrated into core elements of corporate governance and board work – covering board composition and competence, strategy, risk management, governance structures, and the Board’s own way of working. Drawing on interviews with 45 participants across multiple countries and regions, as well as a benchmark review of annual reports from 36 of Sweden’s largest listed companies, the report offers insights into common challenges, emerging trends, and practical ideas for further cross-functional board discussions.
