Gernandt & Danielsson advises a consortium consisting of AstraZeneca, Ericsson, Saab, SEB and Wallenberg Investments in connection with the launch of the joint company Sferical AI AB, which will operate a new sovereign AI supercomputer to transform and prepare the country’s leading industries for the age of AI. The AI initiative is part of a collaboration with NVIDIA that aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Swedish industry by offering participating companies world-leading computing power for AI in an integrated, sovereign and secure infrastructure. In parallel with the launch of the new company, work will begin on establishing an NVIDIA AI Technology Centre in Sweden. The centre will work with the participating companies to tailor the company's AI systems and develop new applications. In the long term, the centre will also support the broader Swedish business community with skills enhancement initiatives such as NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute training.
