Gernandt & Danielsson advises in Länsförsäkringar Liv’s investment in Svenska Handelsfastigheter. In connection with the investment, Länsförsäkringar Liv together with Fjärde AP-fonden and Kåpan Pensioner, become part-owners of Svenska Handelsfastigheter. The ownership group consists, besides the mentioned institutions, also of the funders of the company.

Svenska Handelsfastigheter was founded in 2015 with the aim to be a long-term, customer-focused real estate company, focused on the development of retail centers in Sweden. The intention is to improve the company’s retail centers which will benefit the customers, the tenants and the municipalities. The company owns about 50 retail properties around the country with a total market value of about SEK 3 billion.
