Gernandt & Danielsson has advised Modern Times Group MTG AB (publ) in its acquisition of an additional 17 percent of the shares in InnoGames GmbH whereby Modern Times Group increased its ownership in the company to 68 percent for a purchase price of EUR 106 million. InnoGames is a leading German developer and publisher of online and mobile games.

The transaction also included the establishment of a new holding company for the entire gaming business together with InnoGames' founders, to which the ownership in, inter alia, InnoGames has been transferred.
