Falck has entered into an agreement regarding the divestment of its road side assistance business in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia and Lithuania to Gjensidige Forsikring ASA. The transaction is taking place at a purchase price on a cash and debt free basis of SEK 1,400 million.

Falck is a leading roadside assistance provider in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia and Lithuania with nationwide franchise networks combined with strong industry know-how and flexible workflows. The transaction is a part of Falck’s long-term strategy to develop as an integrated healthcare business.

The transaction is conditional upon customary approvals by competition authorities.
