Emilio Timpanaro

Senior Associate

Emilio specializes in international commercial arbitration and dispute resolution. Dual-qualified in Sweden and Norway, he has extensive experience in institutional and ad hoc arbitration proceedings, particularly in the energy and industrial sectors. He also advises on international investment law and investor-state disputes. In addition, Emilio sits as arbitrator in commercial disputes.

His experience covers disputes arising from agreements concerning the supply of natural gas, uranium, petroleum products, potash, and other industrial raw materials; energy transmission; M&A, shareholder and joint ventures; manufacturing and distribution of industrial tools, automotive parts, and medical equipment; ship management; SaaS and IT services; and EPC contracts. In addition to his counsel work, Emilio regularly advises on contract drafting and negotiations.
