Gernandt & Danielsson advises Viaplay in connection with the disposal of its Dutch operations

Viaplay Group AB (publ) announced on 1 July 2026 that the company had entered into an agreement with Videoland (owned by DPG Media) regarding the divestment of its Dutch streaming and broadcasting operations for a purchase price of approximately SEK 1.57 billion. The Dutch operations generated net sales of approximately SEK 1.65 billion in 2025. The disposal is subject to customary regulatory approvals, consents and procedures.
