Mats has been a partner at Gernandt & Danielsson since 2001. He has extensive experience in private M&A in a number of different sectors (including banking and finance) and his qualifications in this area are regularly recognised in independent national and international rankings. Mats also has extensive experience in advising private equity clients in connection with investments in, and disposals of, portfolio companies. He has a broad range of experience with transactions within these practice areas, including privately negotiated acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, private equity investments, and private placements. Mats is also highly experienced with various commercial agreements, such as cooperation agreements, licensing, outsourcing, distribution, and other commercial agreements in the banking and finance/FinTech, IT, technology, and media sectors.

Gernandt & Danielsson advises Industrikraft when Industrikraft and Vattenfall enter into agreement on new nuclear power in Sweden

Industrikraft i Sverige AB, an industrial consortium, has signed an agreement with Vattenfall AB to acquire 20 per cent of the shares in Videberg Kraft AB.
