In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting economic shock, governments across the world have introduced a number of emergency business assistance measures. In collaboration with Sidley Austin and ten other law firms, we have prepared an overview of the main governmental aid programs aimed at supporting businesses in Scandinavia, Western Europe and the United States. We expect that this table will be particularly useful to companies with subsidiaries in several jurisdictions or investment funds with portfolio companies across Europe and the United States. Please note that this overview is not exhaustive and that the governmental programs described therein are subject to change.
